How to Help

Night Light Walk

Lighting the Way with Royal LePage Shelter Foundation and Alice House

What is the Night Light Walk

Each October, the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation’s Night Light Walk, presented by TD, brings communities together for a magical 3-km walk under the stars to support women and children experiencing intimate partner violence.

It’s a national event with over 10 locations across Canada. Alice House is honoured that Royal LePage Atlantic has selected us as the local beneficiary in Halifax. All proceeds raised through the Night Light Walk in our city will help support Alice House’s work.

Why It Matters to Alice House

The funds raised through this event go directly into sustaining all of Alice House’s programs for women and children affected by intimate partner violence, including:

Safe, affordable housing

Trauma counselling for women, children, and youth

Wrap-around services like food security and essential good provision, economic independence programs, parenting support, and community referrals

Education, prevention, and community awareness

These are essential services. They help survivors heal, rebuild, and imagine safer, more empowered futures.
