As a charity, we depend on volunteers to help us with our work and we really value their generosity and support. Volunteers help us to protect women and their children from intimate partner violence, while they learn new skills, meet new people, and experience a sense of achievement. You can choose to serve on the Board of Directors or assist us with fundraising events.

Alice House is administered by a Board of Directors drawn from community volunteers. Are you interested in serving on the board? This could be your chance to make a meaningful difference in society.
Event and Fundraising Volunteers
We are able to be a recognized voice for women and children because of the generosity and support from our volunteers. Please consider helping us. Our volunteer opportunities include, but are not limited to:
- sitting on event committees
- selling 50/50 tickets at sporting events
- providing your expertise on a maintenance project
- arranging for a “Lunch and Learn” in your workplace to spread awareness about intimate partner violence
